Jone Myking – Fagerborg

These products are made from an ash that stood in Fagerborg in Oslo. The best thing is to leave the old city trees standing with all their history and magnificence. I the event of an old tree falling over or if it has to be removed for one reason or the other, it is very beneficial for birds, critters and insects if the tree is left where it fell. This way it will continue to be a part of the local ecosystem while it decompose. Sometimes the tree has to be removed altogether and that is where we come in. We want to give the tree prolonged life by using the fantastic material properties and structures in the wood to make new products.
